SUMMARY:42nd Annual Prairie Arts Festival
DESCRIPTION:With over 200 exhibitors this festival has been a tradition in downtown West Point since 1979. The Prairie Arts Festival has been recognized as one of the “Top Twenty Events” according to the Southeastern Tourism Association. As one of the largest arts and crafts festivals in the country\, Prairie Arts attracts crowds of more than 25\,000. This Arts and Crafts Festival is held each year on the Saturday before Labor Day from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. in West Point’s beautiful historic downtown. Prairie Arts is a celebration of community\, local food\, fun for all ages\, a 5k run\, stages with live music and the best artists and craftsmen the south has to offer! This is a family friendly event but please no pets; dogs are not permitted at the Festival per The City of West Point but service animals are welcome.
