Katie, Brady & Joe and the Make Believe Traveling Radio Show

Extraordinary guitarist & vocalist Joe Jordan, joined by the incredible voice of Katie Burchfield, team up with acustic performer Paul Brady to create a variety of music in one show that can only be likened to channel surfing late night FM album stations, back whem FM was cool. From Darryl Scott & John Prine, to Norah Jones & Janis Joplin, to Gershwin & Steely Dan, you will be amazed at when and where in your memory their music takes you.

Joe Jordan is recognized as one of the region's premier guitarists. Joe plays with subtlety exemplifying finesse and finger-style perfection. In years past, he was one of the guitarists for the band Gravel Gertie. Now a professor at Mississippi State, (yes, that's Dr. Jordan to you...) Joe plays for the love of the music, and as your listen to him, you will love it too.

Katie Burchfield is fast becoming one of the best unkept secrets in Columbus. Debuting less than a year ago in the Omnova Theater's Valentines Gone Wrong show, Katie stole the show and the hearts of everyone there with a voice that ranges from melt-your-heart to rattling the windows. Katie has since performed at Main Street's Noon-Tunes, Market Street Festival's Acoustic Stage, and was a crowd favorite at Proffitt's Porch.

Paul Brady found his music groove in Columbus, after moving here from L.A. in 2001 (L.A. = lower Alabama.) Encouraged by many of the best musicians in the area, his performance style evolved as something different. There'll be no Mustang Sally or Brown-Eyed Girl, but not much original works either...just a mix of everything he loved listening to growing up and beyond.

Playing one-at-a-time, or together as a group, you will be surprised at the diversity of the music, the artistry of the performance, and how un-assuming and happy to be here that these three are.
