Roger Stephenson

Roger Stephenson is a freelance photographer specializing in performer and performance photography. His favorite subjects are Blues musicians young and old. He was born in Leeds, Yorkshire, England. Today he lives in Birmingham Alabama. He purchased his first film camera, a used manual Kodak bellows when he was twelve. Currently he shoots with a Nikon D4 which he loves because of its ability to take photographs in the low light of a theater or other music venue.

He is a contributing photographer for Living Blues Magazine. Recently his photographs have been exhibited in Birmingham’s Art Folk Gallery’s “We Shot Rock & Roll” exhibition and Birmingham’s 50 Years Hope & Dreams exhibit.
