This six-block sampler quilt teaches a different method of machine piecing in each block: strip-piecing, ½-square triangles, ¼-square triangles, applique, curved seams, flying geese, and set-in seams. Learn about sashing and the secret of putting on borders for a flat quilt top. The last class will cover information about turning the top into a quilt. The emphasis will be on methods to speed up cutting and sewing and to assure accuracy. Sewing experience and a sewing machine in good working condition are required.
*Only bring a pencil for taking notes during the first class on August 3rd. We will go over the supply list.
*Bring your sewing machine on August 3, 10, 17, 24, & 31 as well as September 2.
