Southern Fiber Artists
Southern Fiber Artists of Mississippi views the traditional craft of quilting as a
means of individual artistic expression. SFA members combine original designs with innovative construction techniques to create works more suited for the wall than the bed.
This year, there were seven challenge themes: sorrow/green, time/black, light
bulb/royal blue, flower/red, catastrophe/yellow, spiral/blue and animal/black and white. These challenges provide a means of making a cohesive exhibit of our work within confined perimeters and
yet allows individual expressions of creativity and ideas.
