Week 2: July 16-20, Ages 5-15
Visual Arts Camp
Destinations II: Hola!

Come explore different destinations through art!
The camp theme is related to Hispanic cultures included in the Spanish diaspora. We plan to “travel” to new countries each day, such as Puerto Rico, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, and Spain. Camp attendees will learn new words in Spanish each day, beginning with a friendly morning greeting of “Hola!”  We will also include a children’s book read-aloud each day to reinforce learning of the new countries and their cultures. Art activities will include creating art that is distinctive to each country and celebrates history and culture.
